We spend more time living on the road than most people spend on holidays. That means every piece of gear we carry is constantly being put to the test.
Corrugations, bulldust, river crossings, extreme heat, heavy rain and thousands of kilometres of Australian roads quickly reveal what's built to last and what isn't.
Over the years, we've used a lot of gear. Some of it has earned a permanent place in our touring setup. Some of it didn't live up to the hype.
If a product has earned its place in our setup, you'll find it here. If it hasn't, we won't recommend it.
Our goal isn't to sell you more gear. It's to help you choose the right gear, so you can spend less time worrying about your setup and more time enjoying the adventure.

How We Choose Our Gear
When we first hit the road, we thought we needed every new gadget and every "must-have" accessory. It didn't take long to realise that the best gear isn't always the newest or the most expensive.
After thousands of kilometres across Australia, we've learned that simple, reliable gear you can count on is what really matters.
Everything on this page has earned its place in our setup. Some of these brands we now proudly work with, while others are products we simply bought ourselves and continue to use because they've proven themselves time and time again.
